Cardinal Necklace

This isn't me, it's a friend of mine.  The cardinal is the mascot for the university where she teaches; I had to make her a school spirit necklace.  I had never done square stitch or a row of fringe before, so it was a lot of fun to make.

I would love to make a spirit necklace for my daughter, but I think a cavalier is a lot harder to bead.

I wish I could see it closer up- your friend is a lucky lady- and she knows it- she is grinning from ear to ear! What a fun project!

OH MY GOD YOU ARE FRIENDS WITH SUCH AN OLD UGLY LADY! Imagine my surprise finding this here ... Look at that chicken neck, and the fat arms ... oh my gosh ....

I do love the necklace tho --- even enough to endure finding my face grinning at me from your blog!
